Water test kits

A test kit is how you get a number for a well or a specific tap. It is not a filter.

For private wells, test first, then choose treatment from the lab result. Mail-in kits go to a lab. Strip kits are a screen, not a substitute for a lab on nitrate, arsenic, or bacteria.
